// Going through the experience of social distancing that we’ve been living since March, 2020, we have been put before many defiances! Penetrated by difficult emotions such as distress, fear and loneliness, submerged in a state of uncertainty, any healthy way out has proven to be more difficult each time and followed by great challenges. At the same time, the establishment of positions against any possibility of silencing art is urgent and necessary.
Hence, the initial proposition for 2020’s PARALELA had to be thought over!

Between november 16th and 22nd, the focus was to explore the virtual environment, and some of these creations have been possible to experiment through remote connection. The situation was a ground for confrontation, fight, encounter, and the spread of new ideas.
Therefore, the sixth edition of PARALELA had to reinvent its intentions and form a curating team who also observed the methods that each artist found to reinvent their creations.
